ClaimKiller members are entitled to timely claim response letters prepared on their behalf. ClaimShieldTX™ will respond to any written claims sent to the Home Inspector by any homeowner for whom the inspector performed a home inspection. The claim response will include a review of the facts as reported to ClaimShieldTX™ by the Home Inspector, an outline of the rules that apply to the claim in dispute, an application of the rules and Texas law to the claim presented, and will conclude with a well-reasoned opinion why the Home Inspector has no responsibility or liability for the claim presented (assuming the claim has no merit and the Home Inspector has no liability for the claim).
ClaimKiller members are also entitled to the preparation of customized demand letters to homeowners for non-payment of inspection fees; free consultations regarding third-party liability for claims that may exist in favor of the Home Inspector, including demand/notice letters to third–parties, if appropriate; and ClaimShieldTX™ will work as a liaison between the Home Inspector and their insurance carrier to make sure the insurance-company-hired-lawyer always keeps the Home Inspector’s best interests in mind.
ClaimKiller members are entitled to have their inspection agreements reviewed and analyzed by the ClaimShieldTX™ legal/technical team. The ClaimShieldTX™ legal/technical team will make helpful suggested edits to the inspection agreement which the HI can incorporate into the inspection agreement if he so chooses.
ClaimKiller members also have access to ClaimShieldTX™ “Best Practices”, the ClaimShieldTX™ databank of industry information and helpful standards, and ClaimShieldTX™ communication and risk mitigation tips.
